FAQs

HOW DO I PAY?(Aesthetics)

We accept most major credit and debit cards, cash payments on the day payments.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE ALONG WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT (A FRIEND/FAMILY MEMBER OR MY CHILD)?

No chaperones are permitted to attend the appointment with you, we have had to limit the appointment to one patient only. Please ensure you have childcare in place as no children are permitted to attend appointments, or enter the treatment room

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE I HAVE TREATMENT AND WILL I BRUISE?

Arrive to your appointment with a "clean face" - washed and without makeup.With any injectable treatment, there is a possibility of bruising. Bruising can be minimized by avoiding medications and products that thin the blood, such as aspirin, fish oil, ibuprofen and

alcohol.

There are a few “at home” things you can do help prevent bruising: Avoid fish oil, aspirin, ibuprofen and alcohol for a few days prior to your procedure/treatment. These substances are natural blood thinner and will make you more likely to bruise. You can pre-treat yourself with both oral and topical Arnica, a homeopathic remedy. Arnica can lessen or reduce the chance and severity of a bruise. If you are a person who

In order to reduce the amount of bruising and/or swelling from the injection sites, please follow the instructions below:

  • Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve for 1 week prior. Please consult your physician if you are taking Aspirin for medical reasons!

  • Avoid supplements including St. John’s Wort, ginko biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E for 1 week

  • Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, or any "Anti-Aging" products for 3 days prior

  • Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or hair removal cream on the area to be treated for 3 days prior

  • Do not drink alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment

  • Reschedule your appointment if you have a cold sore

SHOULD I AVOID ANYTHING AFTER MY TREATMENT

Avoid drinking alcohol and partaking in strenuous exercise for 48hrs, as it may result in additional bruising and product migration.

Until the swelling and redness have resolved, avoid intense heat in the treated area(s). This includes sunbathing, tanning, saunas, hot tubs, or hot wax. Also avoid extreme cold such as skiing or other winter sports. All after instruction will discussed in detail at your appointment.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO HAVE A TREATMENT?

Treatments are only offered to people aged 18 years or over. We regularly request proof of identification for anyone who looks below the age of 25 therefore please bring a form of ID such as a passport or driving licence with you.

Please ensure you have reviewed and understand our T&C which our set out below, prior to scheduling an appointment at Mo Aesthetics.

BOOKING FEE

All appointments require a £30.00 booking fee that is non-refundable under any circumstances. The booking fee is then deducted from the treatment cost.

You can re schedule your appointment with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, on our online booking system. If the booking system does not give you the option to reschedule this is due to it being under the 48 hours notice period. Any appointments that are cancelled under 48 hours notice or on the same day the booking fee will be lost. All fail to attend appointments the booking fee will be lost.

REVIEW APPOINTMENTS

We offer a complimentary two week review for all Botox treatments, this review is to address any concerns you may have once the treatment has formed. If you have no concerns with the treatment you are not required to book or attend a review appointment.

The review is only offered at 2-3 weeks maximum post treatment, after this time period the treatment has settled therefore would increase the risk of complications so under no circumstance would we administer treatment outside of this period.

You can re schedule your review appointment with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, on our online booking system. If the booking system does not give you the option to reschedule this is due to it being under the 48 hours notice period therefore would need to attend as a alternative appointment would not be offered.

MEDICAL HISTORY

Upon arrival you will required to complete a medical history form, that provides a detailed over view of your health and any medications that you are taking.

We are unable to offer treatment if you fall into any of the below categories:

  •  Pregnant or breastfeeding women

  •  Anyone with a transmittable blood infection

  •  Anyone undergoing or recently undergone chemotherapy or radiotherapy

  • Anyone with an active cold sore

*DISCLAIMER

The time frames stated on our website for filler durability should be used as a guideline only. There is no guarantee the filler will last for the durations stated above. Several sessions may be needed to achieve your desired results. This is impossible for us to determine as it’s down to an individuals anatomy and lifestyle factors that are out of Mo Aesthetics control. Filler is a buildable product and it may take multiple sessions to achieve your desired result. Asymmetry is a normal part of the healing process and is to be expected, there may be uneven areas of the face due to some areas taking better to filler than others. It is always possible for an individual to have a poor response from dermal fillers.

Our fillers are charged per syringe. Any follow up appointments needed will be charged at the regular rate. Should complications develop from the filler injections, any medical costs would be the patients responsibility. We do not, under any circumstances, offer a partial or full refund.

RETURNS POLICY

Mo trusts that you will be delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied we are happy to offer a refund on all goods returned to us within 14 days of your receipt of goods, provided you can show proof of purchase, the products are in their original, unopened, sealed and unused condition.

 

We recommend using tracked postage when returning your item back to us and is your responsibility until we receive the item back, unfortunately we don't offer free postal returns and do not refund original postage costs paid.
